Beth leads New Classrooms’  fundraising efforts, working closely with national supporters who are helping us develop new learning models. Before joining New Classrooms, Beth spent almost 20 years working with nonprofits and philanthropists focused on education and poverty. Her past roles include Vice President of Leadership Gifts at Teach For America and Director of the Synergos Institute’s Global Philanthropists Circle, a network of leading international philanthropists. Beth also worked with the Catholic Relief Services assessing the effectiveness of diverse poverty-related programs in Africa, Latin America, and the Balkans, and with Andersen Consulting on Change Management engagements in Texas and Puerto Rico. Beth holds a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and a joint master’s degree in Public Affairs and Latin American Studies from the University of Texas at Austin. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband and two daughters, both proud NYC public school students.
