Jason works closely with all New Classrooms’ district and school partnerships to support their journey to personalize instruction with Teach to One: Math. A veteran education leader, Jason is committed to ensuring all children receive an equitable and excellent education. Prior to joining New Classrooms, Jason was the Massachusetts Executive Director with Stand for Children, served as the Executive Director of Teach for America in Phoenix, and secured the Democratic Party nomination for Arizona Superintendent of Public Instruction. Jason started his education career as a sixth grade math and science teacher in East Oakland, California. During that time he was elected to the California Teachers’ Association State Council of Education, where he assisted in drafting legislation to address issues of educational disparity. Jason graduated from Boston College with a Bachelor’s degree in political science and he is a graduate of the Broad Academy. He remains a passionate Patriots and Red Sox fan even while living in Washington, D.C.
